“We believe it is vital to share our stories using our own voices, and so we provide this platform in order to amplify Jamaicans out there who are hell-bent on doing the work.

Our very first feature in our upcoming series is with the inimitable Kristeena Monteith. Coincidentally, Kristeena is from St. Thomas, the same parish as me. She has also inspired my own work, as I feel more empowered to share more about the development challenges especially faced by rural people in Jamaica, an issue that she has used her own platform to tackle. ”
